A project funded by Erasmus+ to improve young people's well-being and empower them to make informed choices about their future.
GEAR Up! is a European project that promotes young people's well-being and supports them in making informed choices for their future. Its aim is to strengthen the role of guidance as a key tool for recognizing talents, preventing school dropout, and fostering student engagement, contributing to the creation of more inclusive and motivating educational environments.
Through joint work among schools, training centers, universities, and educational organizations from six European countries (Italy, Germany, Poland, Greece, Croatia, and Spain), the project provides teachers, guidance counselors, and trainers with practical tools and specific skills to support young people in their personal development and career choices.
GEAR Up! promotes a participatory and co-creative approach to guidance, actively involving students, families, and local communities. Building on the experience of the Erasmus+ project "Talent Space," it expands its impact and contributes to the creation of a European network for inclusive guidance, aligned with Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda and the 2024 eTwinning theme "Well-being at School."
GEAR Up! aims to make guidance a shared and transformative activity, capable of generating new opportunities and visions for young Europeans. Through innovative tools and an international network, the project supports the development of skills, confidence, and well-being — essential pillars for facing the challenges of the present and future with awareness.
